Hi,

Just wondering if theres any way to get sound via the bluetooth...Like getting mp3s played from a laptop to the TL's sound system via bluetooth? If not, is it theoretically possible (I just got my TL and don't have a bluetooth phone yet...but if you can get stuff from a phone onto the TL I don't see why its not theoritically possible to do so via a laptop)

theoratically its possible. but I dont think the handsfree profile supports Stereo. that wud be your first hitch.

So yes if you can have a handsfree profile running off of your lappy, and have the sound re-directed to the sound system, (of course you will have to emulate incoming call etc ... ) but you will still be stuck with mono only.

 

I thought about this too, but I haven't found a USB bluetooth dongle that supports the Handsfree profile. Most support the headset profile.

I tried with the 3 Bluetooth dongles I have access to, none would pair with the car.

 

If the mp3 player were bluetooth-capable it would be theoretically possible, I guess. But don't forget they didn't engineer the system with entertainment in mind. That's why the bluetooth system only uses the front speakers.
