I just bought a Sony Ericsson Z525a which was approaved on the Acura Website. Everytime I call, the sound goes to the phone and not to the car. I can not hear anything incoming or outgoing unless I use the phone itself. The phone did pair correctly, and all indicators are working. I tried a Nokia yesterday and the sound worked, but there were no indicators,

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Spoke to Sony. They told me there is a compatbility software issue with the Z525a. They are hoping for a fix in the near future. What phone will work with my TL????

They suggest the W3001.

 

I have a 525a and mine works perfectly with my 06 TL. I paired it and it worked the first time. Maybe you have to mess with some of the settings or something.

This is a known firmware issue for the Z525a (and a few other newer Sony Ericsson models).
