someone with electrical manual tail light help
Somebody with an electrical manual please help. I am thinking about doing a tail light retro for a civic using the TL led assy. But I want to use the voltage regulator for the led/brake setup (controls/powers the leds). I am guessing there is one. Where is it located in the car? What is the part number? I know that it is not attached to the tail light itself because I have looked on acuraautomotive.org and its not in the picture.

well not that exact site, but it uses the same search engine as acuraautomotiveparts.org
someone who has a manual could hopefully check and trace the schematics for me

According to the Service Manual and the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual, there is no regulator for the tail/brake lights-- you just feed them battery voltage and they have current-limiting resistors built in.
