Question Software Glitch???

All:

I need some help to determine if a problem I uncovered is just affecting me. Here's the situation:

When I use the Driver #2 key fob to unlock the door and start the car I can never seem to get the Navi display to automatically change from day to night even though it is set to Auto. Everytime I turn on the lights I need to manually change it to the "night" setting. I have checked to make sure the Navi screen brightness is not set to max. (Have not checked to see if it was linked to the instrument panel brightness indicator, but not sure why it would be in the first place) I don't have this problem with the Driver #1 profile.

Do others have this problem? Can you do a quick check to see if this is systemic or just affecting my car? I had it at the dealer already and complained - all they did was tell me it wasn't set to auto - obviously they didn't bother to check after they set it to auto. Chances are I'm going to take it back to them again but I'm afraid that they will tell me that nothing can be done. Any ideas?

Don't worry buddy.

Turn down the OD display light to high, not max. If you hit max, the Navi will stay in Day mode. if you hit high, it will turn Night mode when you turn on your light.

Hey thanks! That did the trick. I thought the max brightness was related to the Navi display, not the OD display. I appreciate the help.
