Where i loose signal in open skies randomly. It all started about 2 weeks ago when i got in my car to go to work. I turned on the radio, XM, and some of the stations i had recorded would say not available. This was weird because if you would navigate to tha channel instead of using the programmed button it would work. I had to reprogram like 4 stations again but that was it.

Just recently on the same roads i've taken since i got my TL a year ago, it's an 04 AT NoNav, i have been lossing signal all over the place, where it had never happened. It will lose it that it will say Loading and come back in like 10 seconds or so.

Has anyone been experiencing this issue lately? I went to the XM site forums to see if there is something going on but no luck. Any assitance is appreciated fellas ;-)

A few weeks ago I noticed my XM was all f'd up too, i would lose signal and some of my stations no longer worked. I didn't think too much of it until the next day my husband who has sirius told me the same thing happend in his truck. I ended up calling XM and the lady told me it was bc of the XM/sirus merge. She resent signal to my TL and my husband's truck and emailed me a copy of the channels, she said a few of them changed. Everything works fine now, I dunno if that is your prob or not but you can give them a call and have them resend signal, see if that helps. g/l
Oh, and also my display says sirius xm radio now instead of just xm radio

As part of your problem...would your audio 'cut out' for a second or two?
The last few weeks, I have noticed that while I'm listening to my XM...the audio will just 'cut out' for a second or two. But the display always shows the info...it's not the same as when you lose the signal, hear that static and it reads "no signal". All this does is cut out.

I'm having the same problem as well. I have not called XM yet. Sounds like a problem on there end. I need to check my wifes Honda Odyssey and see it the problem is there as well.

So, it cuts out on you too then? Let me know what you find out. I should probably give XM a call also.

my presets disappeared last week and all turned into channel "1"

...IMO XM sux since the merger but it's still 1,000,000x better than local radio

its been cutting in and out randomly in my TL and MDX...

Mine cuts out now for about 1-2sec at least once every time I go somewhere, just started about two weeks ago. I have never had this happen previous to the merger. Also, on some stations it will not show the artist or song name sometimes now, I forget the exact message it says though.

It stopped happening where it would loose signal, getting that white noise for like 3 to 5 seconds and "loading" on the display but now i do get that 1-2 second cut-outs, and it displays everything correctly. it happens about 3-4 times a day. Didnt really give them a call because it had stopped, and some guys were saying ir was because of the xm-sirius merge.

I haven't had the problem of losing the name/title info yet...that is always there, but definetly cuts out for 1-3 seconds.

Yes...me too, the white noise and 'no signal' hasn't happened either...just the 1-3 second cut-outs with full info in display.
I did give XM a call and use the automated service to resend the signal...but no luck, hasn't changed anything...still cuts out.
Hopefully, they correct this problem...

Wow, this happens to me in my Accord but I thought it was because I have an aftermarket Sirius unit. I'm not complaining seeing as how I canceled my service two years ago but the channels still come through. I would be pissed if I still paid for it.

Happened over the weekend in wifey's CR-V. Right in a very open area. Not the typical "no signal" hiss. Just like the mother ship went dead for 2-4 seconds.

someone mentioned they did but didnt work. I havent gotten a chance so i cant say for sure. As for they issue, i dont think it's bad enough that i would not want to pay for it. it happens randomly, and for a couple of seconds, in between 2-3 hours so it's not like happens every 20 seconds.

I have an outage almost on every song and under every overpass. Never happened before but since it is free, I'm not pressed.
