would i gain anything if i would controll the sub with the 3sixty remote knob over the acura headunit??

 

I thought I had to make that same choice too. I was having some horrible bass coming out of the sub, until I figured out I had to reverse the wires going into the 3Sixty.2 high-level inputs. Now I've got control through both the HU and the 3Sixty. What's the situation that's causing you to have to make this choice?

 

I use mine as the Master Volume Control... since the factory HU/Amp changes the EQ curve based on volume...

 

at what volume do u keep the stock unit then ???

 

I basically set all my amps at Stock Unit volume 30 & 3sixty master volume MAX... so the stock unit remains at 30.... and the 3sixty Remote is in the cup holder area...

 

whats ur setup if u dont mind. i have yet to meet somebody with a system to compare. i have 2 12;s with about 300 to each and i have changed all the speakers feeding them of kicker sx900.4 and sx600.2 for the subs. if i could vent them a little bit better im sure i would get a lot more bass in the cab since it really rattels my trunk like krazy .
