SIRPAN1 to get sirius?

Ok i have searched for the new SIR-PAN1 device on here but no luck.... but here I go....

The OEM system is made for Acura and ELS by panasonic. There is a new sirius tuner out to work with new Panasonic radios...

I am pretty sure it is designed for the new aftermarket headunits but I am hoping that Panasonic used the same bus so that maybe just maybe I can replace the OEM XM tuner with the SIRPAN1 and have sirius in the TL

Actually I am sure it is for the aftermarket Pana headunits. As for the OEM headunit I am not sure if it uses the same BUS...need to look at the connectors. Also the antenna is different for XM and Sirius.

So will this work? Anyone call the company to see if it is Acura compatible?

This is worth investigating more thoroughly. If it works it opens the door to add all sorts of devices with the Panasonic CY-EM100U Expansion Box.

Crutchfield has the SIRI-PAN on sale for 79$. They also have a PDF installation manual on the Hands-on Research tab under "What's Included". The PDF shows a 2 pin Panasonic data bus.
