Siemens S66

Has anyone used this phone with the 04 TL or even without the TL? It has an interesting set of features, but I don't find that it has much "press time".

I'm currently with Verizon and in the Portland, OR area there are MAJOR holes in their coverage. If I have to get something else why not go Bluetooth.

Can't seem to find out if it does auto connect with the TL, etc.

thanks for any input.

Mmm..., this phone looks good... but not sure if it's really working well with HFL...

I was not able to pair the S65 (same as s66, just differt freq. band supported). The process went fine until the last step where the TL says "[phone name] paired." The pairing process aborts at that point. I think there are some earlier threads discussing this problem. My recommendation would be to avoid the S6x's for now if you want HF profile to work with the TL.

Update?

Does anyone have an update on this? Did anyone have a successful pairing done with your '04 or '05 TL?

Did you need to download any firmware upgrades to get it to work?

No, it worked right out of the box. I've had the phone for about 10 days and no problems so far.

Sweet! Thanks! I should be getting it in the next day or so. I'm pissed off at Verizon. Goin' back to Cingular...
