I have been using a Siemens S55 bluetooth phone with my TL for over six months without any problems. I just bought the brand new Siemens S65 phone but I am unable to complete the pairing process successfully. The pairing sequence proceeds flawlessly till the very last step. After I announce the name of the newly paired phone, the HFL just quits without confirming that the pairing was completed successfully.
Can anyone help?

I just tried the same thing with a new S65 today and had the same problem. I thought it was the car, but now that I saw your posting I know it is the phone. Also, after it quit on me I asked the car to list the phones to see if it had worked and the names were named as nothing (silence), so now in order to delete them I will have to reset the whole thing... I guess. I will look into it.

I have 2 S56 phones registered to my 04 tl. Both were paired without a hitch. I don't think that I did anything special in the pairing process. The only problem I have with the phone is that the phone gets recognized as soon as the car is turned on, once the disclaimer screen is accepted on the navi the phone looses it's connection, 5 - 10 seconds later it regains it's connection and all is well.

The model I am having trouble with is the S65, not S56.
