Anyone know why this phone does not transmit text messages to the MID. Is there a way to change the settings ? Do other phones transmit texts to MID. Acura website says the Bluetooth transmit this info. My Siemens doesn't seem to.

It's fairly dependant on how the company impliments Hands Free Link. It can go from as little as just transfering the call to the other system, to sending all kinds of data (such as the text you want.) Not all phones will transmit signal strength & battery and such. You might try Siemen's web site for information on how the HFL works; they may just not support full data transfer to the TL (or other HFL device.)
