is there a way i can burn a CD or DVD-A so that when it plays...the title of the album and song and the artist will scroll across...i know this is possible in the RL...im just wondering if we can do it with our TL's.....

 

I don't think so... I remember before buying my TL somebody pointed this out ot me (the infiniti has the song title, but the acura doesnt)

I think the RL uses the same hardware as the TL however the software is different. I think to get the features that the RL has Acura would have to release an update disc. since the RL is a bit more expensive I doubt they would do it as it helps to differentiate the product. It does not mean that some enterprising soul could not reverese engineer it if sufficentely motivated

 

it's a simple SW upgrade... if enough people ask for it, Acura would probably submit to it

 

uch...i hate this crap.....Acura makes the TL is top of the line...everyone asks for what the TL has in the CL and the TSX and the RSX....errrr and then along comes the RL where they pump it full of features....i hate when companies do that...like verizon...they give u bluetooth...but just not enough....

 

I would be willing to bet it would be included in the 2006 model.... along with mp3 playback capability and xm navtraffic... NOT shawd though... but i shouldnt turn this thread into what may be in future models...

for now... if we wanted it...yes its a simple s/w upgrade... its just a matter of getting enough people to ask acura for it...

lol that won't do crap...one time when i was REALLLLLLLY INTO LEGOS (back in the day) i begged lego to make wrestling legos.....oy...that didn't work out.....i got petitions and like 100+ signatures...etc..sent them letter that my uncle wrote...lol...nothing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING...i got a coupon...a FRIGGIN COUPON!
