So I have a 04 TL base non-nav. I want to put a screen where the radio is. The two options I was looking into are either putting a nexus tablet in the dash, (But I would still need a radio function). OR Im wanting to put a double din where the radio display is and use a nav clock pod to control the ac.

I want to utilize all space and remove the stock radio (cd player is broken)

Overall I was wondering what would be the best / CHEAPEST option?

The easiest option is to grab a double din (you can get them used for a great deal), and buy the krankitup double din mounting kit: 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 ACURA TL DOUBLE DIN DASH KIT

The Nexus 7 tablet might look cheap at first (the tablet is like only $80), but you'd need to buy an audio interface device (isimple or usa spec), and then all the extra small parts that add up, like the cables, etc. you'll be looking at around $250+, then you'd have to also find a place to mount your original HVAC/climate screen and extend its wires.
