screen changes to yellow tinted shade

My screen from time to time changes its shade to yellowish. (blues and reds) will show as yellow and looks bad. does not look clear like the normal view. Its nothing that i have changed cuz it changes back. happens when its more warm outside. thats the only thing i can relate to. Can anyone help me out on this. wanted to see if anyone had the answer here before i went to the dealer.

thanx

Could be a bad solder joint or a bad toggle switch.

That sucks. I would bet that it has to do with the navi conversion on his though. I could be wrong.

I might do first come first serve. Might make things less complicated. So I take it you wont be going to Fudds afterwards.

Depends on the time... I will be one of the first there if that is the case...

I'm always in trouble anyway, no reason to try and stay out of it this time...

Good point....

To the OP, when I bought my Pilot a few weeks ago, the screen was already doing that funky yellow thing... They are supposed to be fixing it and the original thought was that there was a loose connection or a bad cable...

Pray it isnt a bad cable, that would mean alot of ripping out of things....

at this becoming a 'chat' thread...

They may try to void the warranty if they see the navi conversion stuff. Which model conversion harness do you have? The solder version or the plug and play version? If plug and play then disconnect it to see if your problem goes away. If it doesnt then it's a bad nav screen. However, you might want to return it to ctock before going to the dealer.
