Sorry man. My NavTool has been trouble free. Could be the camera too. Can you try to run the video out to another monitor?

did you try turning the brightness up? If not, try it and see if dom's is maxed to it's dimmest setting. If it is, plug your camera into a monitor and check and see if it's the camera.

Talked to tech support at TvandNavtogo.com and the guy said i have to press the brightness buttons many many times, the floor and ceiling is around 60 steps and the changes are small with every press.

Gonna try this later today

Did you try the factory reset by pressing the up and down brightness buttons at once? Or pressing the down button 60 times? HAHAHA

Sooooo....

Hooked the camera to another monitor...and the picture was perfect...all i did was take the RCA connection to another monitor and didnt move or adjust the camera.

Hooked up a DVD player to Doms PNP to video 1 and then video 2...looked at the screen both times...kinda bright but i could adjust the brightness on Doms unit...but cant adjust the brightness at all when the reverse camera is on...

So my guess is something wrong with Doms unit itself...gonna call TVandNav to go on monday/tueday and see what they think.
