It looks cool, but if you do any text messaging, it'll be tedious, if only for your eyes..

I'm pretty happy with my Samsung i730, but I'd like something that did more than just the caller id and the actual calls.. battery, signal, phonebook import would all be nice.

Anyway, when you guys start buying these, let me know how it works, I might get one

For all you Sprint customers, the new Samsung Upstage does pair with the TL, and you can make calls, however call waiting is non existent.

If you can live without call waiting, then this design-forward phone/mp3 player may be for you. I may return the phone, but I haven't decided yet.

 

What about the rest of the features?
Phonebook import, battery level, signal strength, caller-id?

 

That, and "phantom calls" are a problem with some phones... a few of the Samsungs being some of the problem phones...

 

I returned the phone. Flipping back and fourth got ANNOYING! I ended up getting the Sanyo M1. That phone works great! All of the functions (caller id, battery/signal strength, call waiting, etc) for the 05 version of HFL works.

As for the Upstage, I found out that call waiting does NOT work. Also, if you receive a text/picture mail while on a call, your conversation will crap out. I guess HFL gets confused with an incoming text/pic.
