Has anyone been using the new Samsung T-509 recently released by T-Mobile? It pairs with the HFL easily and works well except that every time I get in the car the phone asks if I want to connect to the HFL. I've never had this problem before. Every phone I have owned just connects automatically without asking.

I sent the phone to be in discovery mode but i can't seem to find any settings that will stop this from happening which is a major inconvenience to have to connect manually every time I get in the TL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

does it show Battery, Antenna , Roaming as well as incoming #? I am interested in buying one here in Canada.

 

It doesn't show any information, but I did solve my original problem. I didn't authorize the HFL on the T-509, so I had to make that adjusment in the phone and now all is well.

what did you do get your t-509 to pair with HFL?

i begin the pairing process...
choose a 4 digit pin...
HFL starts looking for a phone...
*I then go into the t-509's bluetooth menu and tell it to search for devices...
HFL finds the T-509 and I enter the PIN on the T-509...
HFL asks for a name...
I speak a name outloud...
and after a few seconds of silence the phone and HFL disconnect without pairing!
