Hi, I noticed that the new version of Roxio (8) can create Dvd Audio. Is this the same that can be played on a TL audio system? Thanks

it should be able too, but im not sure about the codec

most likely it is used for dvd-a on dvd players and home theaters

but it should work

I looked over the spec sheets and nothing specifically says DVD-Audio.
I saw "DVD Music Disc" but that could very well be a DVD-V format disk using DD to encode the tracks. This is very, very different than a DVD-A.

At $80 it may be a fine program for the features it has but it may not in fact do DVD-A. Make sure you can try before you buy because there are programs out there for much less that let you create DVD-As that are verified to play great in the TL.

Well I have Roxio Toast 7 (latest and greatest from Roxio just released a month ago) for Mac and the DVD-Music is just a DVD-V with music. You can add video or pictures when building the disc, but unfortunately this is not compatible with our TL's DVD drive.
