i know this has been covered plenty of times but it seems like all the installs and diy's are old and outdated. ive been looking at this converter on autotoys and im wondering if this is the right converter to get.

i also have a isimple installed so i will be using the aux input from that for the sound. as for a dvd player i want a stealth install (example in the cubby below the radio). everywhere i look it seems like everyone is installing a "switch" for the unit to switch from NAV to DVD.

im wondering what dvd player would work best to install in the cubby below the nav screen?

also is there a list of parts and supplies i should get to complete this install?
