Removing Radio Knobs

04 TL - Previous owner must have spilled soda or coffee on the volume control knob so it sticks, I want to clean it up, do they simply pull straight off by hand, tried a gentle pull but no luck.
thanks!

It's not going to break just wiggle a little bit and pull it off. I have done this before. Just don't wiggle it excessively.
