Remote turn-on tap-in location?

I'm going to be doing my install soon, and need to figure out exactly which power source I want to tap into for my amp remote wire. I've read where people have used the fuse box, the power outlet in the armrest, and the DVD Nav system located in the trunk.

I obviously want to make this as simple as possible, and avoid running more wires under/beneath/behind things. I'll have most of the trunk and seat area out anyhow for sound deadening at the same time, so the DVD Nav system in the trunk sounds most appealing. For those of you who have used this, can you give me any more info about it? Where did you locate the wire, which wire, etc, etc.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the info Crook.

I'd still like to find out which wire on the Nav DVD in the trunk people are tapping into.

I believe if you have navi, the yellow and red wire going to the navi unit in the trunk will work.
