Remote Start without Wasting a key

I am interested in gettin a remote starter for my new 06 NBP. The Viper 791XV is talked about highly around the forum and would be fine.

One big thing is I don't want to leave a key in the car for the remote start. I saw someone talk about a unit that can learn the key so the key doesn't have to stay there. My main problem with leaving a key in is the system's starter kill will be disabled with a key in all the time.

If I can't get this done, I might just go for a system without the remote start and just the alarm system.

Anyone with some info?

In case anyone was wondering, the security system is my main concern with the remote start being a useful and relatively cheap addition (winters here in Maryland can get serious).

It doesn't list support for 2006 and there is no price or ordering information that I see. I had seen this site before, but couldn't find an Acura part.

Has anyone used this one or the one by AutoToys

I don't believe they change the key transponder in the '06 so you should be fine but if anyone knows for sure....?.

Found another one made by DEI. Don't know if it only works with DEI products though.

I guess no one has installed one of these boxes. Is everyone with a remote start just leaving a key in the car?

I installed my remote starter with this module
http://www.autotechs.com/items/item1372.htm

I first tried the DEI module, but it didn't work.

You should also look into getting this module:
http://www.audiooutfitter.com/store/CANSL.html

It has a tach output and allows you to arm/disarm the factory alarm.
