I have a 2007 Acura TL. I have used the wireless remote for a while, and it has all of the sudden stopped linking with the vehicle. I can no longer change the customized settings because it does recognize the remote for "Driver 1" when it is in the ignition. A message pops up saying that "you can not change the customized settings until linked with the remote." However, I have a spare key for "Driver 2," and it recognizes it just fine. I was wondering if somebody could help me in re-programming my remote for "Driver 1." Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

 

Press the "open" and "close" buttons simultaneously and hold them until the remote light blinks-- that relinks the '04-'06 TL fobs, at least.

Otherwise, check the owner's manual or instructions printed on the remote.
