Rear Sub Doesnt Work?

Rear Sub Doesnt Work?

Ok guys so i just bought a 2008 Acura TL Type S with navigation, and my rear sub isnt working at all? i went to audio and subwoofer and its on and even if i put it to max i dont hear it at all, the rest of the speakers work ,any idea on what it can be and how to test it and check? thanks .

could be that the subs are unplugged, when you pop your trunk. look inside your trunk and take the clip out of the top carpet and pull it down. reach your hands in the circle opened area and you should feel the sub and pull the wire down, check if its even plugged or the wire could have been cut to add aftermarket subs. Good luck

So i took out the clips, and checked the sub and its plugged in, no wires cut any idea on what else it can be? Amp? if so where is it located and how do i get to it? im hoping to fix this asap. thanks again.

I have the same issue my rear sub and center speaker does not work. The amp is located in the passenger side kick panel. Let me know if this helps and what can help me.

my sub actually worked the hole time but had no cds at the moment or ipod and was using only the fm radio which then a member told me that with fm radio the sub isnt as loud as it would be with a cd or ipod. thanks anyways
