Rear speakers and system
Hey everyone, i am installing a system and i bought a converter. I plan on splicing directly into the rear speakers; only problem is i need to know which one is ground and which one is positive. There is one red/blue wire and the other is just yellow. I am guessing the yellow one is ground, i just want to make sure and any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

lol...there aren't any grounds on our speaker systems...our system is not a common grounded system...negative is the proper terminology
and...if you're adding a subwoofer...y don't you tap off of the factory subwoofer leads?
iirc

Tapping into the subwoofer output for an external amp
I've been trying to figure out the best way to tap into the signal from the subwoofer so that I can feed it into my amp. Originally I was going to just use a speaker level to line level converter (do I even need this? since the output was designed for a 2-ohm driver, maybe I can wire it directly into my amp since the voltage should be quite low for a low power amp), but then I found a post here that someone tapped into something near the stock amp?
Also, where should I tap-in for the amp turn-on signal? I thought about using the brake lights since I drive with my headlights on so if they're on, the amp's on. Maybe I should tap into something near the stock amp?
