So I noticed a couple different issues. I keep my trip on while I drive on a few occasions I've noticed when I've gotten in my mpg's act like I've fully reset it in one category. Basically all the categories stay like it's still keeping track but say the mpg's will reset. I'd say it's happened 6 times in the last few months.
Now the other day I got into my car and my presets were all gone on the am/fm and xm. I thought nothing of it and reset a few to get my by my drive home and figures id try to find people with this issue. Next day I get back in my car to go to work and all my presets were restored to what it was. I use the same key every time. I found this way to wierd.

 

I've randomly had the same issue with my MID and MPG AVG resetting, but not the radio issue. It hasn't happened often enough to ask the dealer about it. If others jump into this thread with the same issue and/or have a cause / solution, I would be interested to hear.

 

Yeah it is an odd thing to happen. I was curious if it was the hands free module somehow but my battery has had zero issues.

 

No battery or HFL issues on my end either......

 

I might just disconnect it anyway and see if it does it again. It's just to random to try and pinpoint what it is. Maybe I'll just do a draw test see if there's something going on.

 

How old is your battery? With all the electronics and wizardy in cars these days, dying or bad batteries (cell) have been know to manifest themselves in all sorts of odd symptoms. Like I said I have had the issue off and on but replaced my battery in the middle. Have had the issue with both the old and new, but with no discernable pattern.

 

Not sure, I'd have to look and see if the battery is marked with a date. It's not a factory battery. It would be odd to me that there was an issue from the battery and not see any other issues.

 

Based on some of the things other members have posted here on AZ which turned out to be the battery - nothing would surprise me.
