Radio wont turn on, Need Advice

I need help!!

I pulled the radio fuse to see if i could tap into it, instead of using the acc. Now the radio wont turn on. I pulled the battery and connected it to see if that would help but it didnt. i can eject cd's and i can load them. Also, neither of the power outlets in the center console will work. Can someone please help me out?!

Unplug the battery for 30 minutes, or unplug the fuse for the radio for 30 minutes. This will reset the radio. After this period, it will prompt you for a security code to enter. This code is found usually near the glove-box area, pref, the sides of the glovebox. If not, check your owners bookelt binder for it.

I think you popped a fuse
try a new one
reset the ecu by battery is not going to get power to the outlets!
Maybe a bad ground connection? or overload on the circuit?

Well i checked the Radio and Acc fuses and they are both good. But will try new ones just to be sure. Where should i check to see if there is a bad ground or overload anywhere?

Unplugging the battery didnt work....should have said that earlier.

Do you have a voltage meter, multimeter or a simple voltage tester? You need to find out if you are getting power to the load side of the fuse. I don't know what you could have damaged by what you explained.

Also, as 01tl mentioned, just for grins, try a spare fuse in there. I expect it is somethign simple (hoping).

Here's my guess (and I've done this myself so don't feel so stupid). When you took the fuse out and then changed your mind, did you put the fuse back in the correct socket? I'm guessing there are spares and you put the fuse back into the wrong socket. Your manual should show you where the radio fuse is located.
