During the last three months, my radio would spontaneously turn off by itself or not turn on at all. When it goes off, there is nothing I can press to get it working again. I have restarted the car, changed the battery, press various (combo) buttons as I turn on the radio, and even use the phone button on the wheel. Mysteriously, sometimes it would turn back on when I turn it on. At that point, I have had to re-enter the radio code. There is no pattern to this problem as it happen at various times.

Unfortunately, I am out of warranty and does not warrant a trip to the dealer yet. It corrects itself within a day. I have not checked the fuse yet since the system does work most of the time. I have made no change to the car and have not hacked into the NAVI.

I have searched the net and acurazine for a fix.

Anyone dealt with this before? Any help would be appreciated.
