Question Radio Model Number Differences?

Hello.

Soon to be new owner of an '08 TL base w/navi. The current owner installed an aftermarket unit and did not keep the original radio (navi still in place.) I prefer the look of the stock unit, but am confused on the model numbers to get a replacement.

The Acura estore shows three model numbers, which I guess are original part (1) and two remanufactured parts (2) and (3): (1) 39100-SEP-A10ZA, (2) 39100-SEP-A10ZACP, (3) 39100-SEP-A10ZARM. The last two also include (1TB4) in the item title. I got this list from putting in the VIN from the car I've bought.

Searching ebay, I've found 3 radios that all look the same, but feature different model numbers on the radio body: 39100-SEP-A100, 39100-SEP-A500, 39100-SEP-A600. The A600 lists (1TB6) on the cassette door, and the seller of the A500 lists it as being "w/navigation".

Does anyone know the differences between the A100, A500, and A600? Will any of them work or do I need to provide more specific info about my car? Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Got one part figured out.
A100: non-navi
A500: navi
A600: type-S navi

Now I'm wondering, does anyone know if there's a difference between the three models?

The non-navi probably has a different harness. The difference between the base and the Type-S is more than likely just the button back lighting (red on Type-S, whitish green on base).

The best part is that no matter which OEM radio you put in ...... you're still getting a cassette!

From what I've read you cannot get a radio that has a different number than yours on the cassette door
