Radio/Handsfree link/CD player noise/static/buzzing

Hi all. I am experiencing statics/noise/buzzing as a background noise only when engine is running. Also buzzing is increasing with rpm . I can listen to mucis .conversations, but volume must be up more than 10 in order to not hear the noise.
When engine is off, radio/cd player noise is not present.
I guess it is either some kind of electrical problem in the engine bay or radio/cd player problem.
Plsd to hear from fellow acura fanatics any suggestions as to what the problem might be. I have extended waranty, but radio is not covered.

Thanks for suggestions and help.
Car was left at the dealership and it turned out to be the radio amplifier that will be replaced under waranty. $400 part according to the servise adviser.

Can you update after you get your car back please (and post an update to this thread as well: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/high-pitch-sound-stereo-706739/). This is a thread that many of us are having the exact same problem and are trying to figure it out. My test so far have also showed it may be the amp. Good Luck!

I am experiencing this same issue. I had an Acura tech look over the system and test a bunch of stuff an he concluded that it is the amp. So I'm looking for a used OEM amp that is working well, since I'm not under warranty.

Confirmed. I bought a used OEM amp and replaced the old amp, and this indeed fixed the issue.

Note also that even though the part numbers are different for the 04-06 vs 07-08 amp, they are interchangeable. I used an '07 amp on my '04, and it's working perfectly.

Where is the AMP located and where did you buy a used OEM amp? I'm currently experiencing the same problem and it drives me crazy.

I, too, have an 04 and was having the same issue as the OP. I just got an 07 amp from ebay.

The buzzing from the front went away, but something was weird... I quickly realized that there was no sound from the rear channels.

It's going back today.

You can also fix this yourself. I had the same problem and fixed it by replacing all the smaller 5mm electrlytic capacitors in the amp. Must have been a bad batch. The parts are maybe $20 tops and anyone with a soldering iron should be able to do it.

I can do a howto if anyone would like me to.

Hope it helps!
