I have a 2005 Acura TL abd I have the code for the radio but when I push the 1 and 6 and the power button all at the same time like the book says to out the code in all I get the the workld "ERROR" and it won't let me put the code in. Before this happened it would let me put the code in and the radio would play for about 3 mins and go off and make me put the code in all over again. Any thoughts why this happens? I called Acura and tgey said maybe a loose battery cable? Please help! Thanks 🙂

What happens when you just input the 4 number code, either without pressing or before pressing all 3 buttons at the same time?

Also, has anything electronic been changed what so ever in your car? Like wiring,alternator, any part of the sound system to aftermarket? Cause it does sound like something is either coming lose or grounding out and shutting off/resetting. Fuses?

 

Did you figure out the problem mines does the same thing.
