Today, after I started the car and turned on the radio to play CD, it got frozen up. The radio and CD players were not working, so I turned it off and turn on again the radio worked, but once I tried to play CD, it got frozen again. I tried many time, and the CD player didn't work. So, I went to the shop to see what's going on, they didn't even look at it and told me that I have to get a new one. Anyone have this kind of problem?

 

a bunch of people on this forum had CD player problems. Including me. My CD player stopped working 2 weeks ago...but i've been using my ipod since then. Unfortunately, sounds like you will have to replace the whole unit, if you want to play CD's again.

 

Yep, noticed this before I took delivery of my car so the dealer replaced it first.

 

I have thr same problem but luckly i have the Ipod adapter so that help. The Ipod is a lot easy as it can hold more songs. The dealer told 1K for the unit and labor. I said thanks and bye lol.

 

Also make sure you get a unit with the same part number on the cassette door or else certain functions won't work such as your bluetooth.

 

My friend told me that I can install an aftermarket on space under the Radio player. So I am thinking about buying a Sony Xplod MEX-BT3700U, this is the one I can find for a seasonal price. Anyone have any suggestion?
