I've tried almost everything. Called in to Acura for the radio code and the code they gave me didn't work. Tried unplugging the FM transmitter. Tried going deep underground to get no signal. Nothing. I'm starting to think that the original owner switched it out for a new Radio with a different code. Could somebody help me out??

 

If it didn't work, the previous owner may have very well switched out the radio.
The CD player often goes bad.

I believe you'll need to remove the radio and get the serial number on the radio and call Acura to get the code.

 

with the radio off, press and old preset button 1 and 6 (still hold 1 and 6) hit power on. This will provide you with accurate radio serial number, NOTE there will be two set of code display like this.

U111111 then it will switch to L1111111 write down the number and call your dealer. If you don't mind provide me with the VIN# along with the radio serial# I can get you the radio code.




In the past I paid $110 (1 hour labor) and the tech gave me a code which never works, later it turn out he mis read the serial number therefore the wrong code was provided this happened on my 91 Legend.
