Radio/AC reset then all setting come back?

Not sure if this ever happened to anyone. My 2006 TL Manual/Non-Navi with 30k miles did this yesterday.

1. Turned on car to find all radio station settings/XM not registered/AC defaulted to low. No other issues found.

2. Set some radio stations and AC temp

3. Turned off car for the night.

4. In the morning all previous radio stations/XM and AC temp was back to previous setting before any of this occurred.

Any Ideas? This every happen to anybody? I wanted some help before taking it into the dealership. I havent had any electrical issues to date and I am the 1st owner.

Did your remote link to the car? When you get it does the MID say Welcome Driver 1?

To link/unlink.. hold the unlock and lock buttons together for 3 seconds or so. The remote activates the saved HVAC/Radio/Memory Seat settings....
If no link is made..everything defaults.

Thanks for the reply.

I didnt do anything different than I normally do. Yes I used my keychain remote to unlock/lock the car. Everything is back to normal now. I cant say when I got into the car last nite when I had all my setting gone if the MID said "Welcome Driver 1" but ill watch for this next time.

The battery in the keychain would be more likely to be bad than the car battery. The car battery was changed out 15k miles ago.

Did find this post related to chargers in the car. I do have a radar detector plugged in at all times.
