I lost one of the suction cups that attachs the bracket to the windshield. I went to Michael's (hobby store) and tried some of the cups they had there but they dont slide into the bracket properly. I've googled it and I found a pair of them for $16. Are there any cheaper options you guys know of? Its a Whistler 1734.

 

It happened to me once, I went to the local bed and bath and took the hook of those that are used to hand stuff from the windows and it worked...good luck..Whistlers rule, had a few now I'm using the Radio Shack brand...( lol made by Whistler..)

 

yea thats the type I tried but it didnt work. The suction cups that come with the detector have a notched tip with a small diameter which allows the cup to slide into the smaller diameter hole of the bracket. Any other ideas?

Buy one and see if you can trim it down .. it's only silicon and should cut easily.
