Quick Speaker Question

Hi, i have a 2008 tls and i blew my driver door and rear passenger speaker. Just wanted to know if i can use the ones from a base 2007.

Yes, but if I were you I'd use it as an opportunity to upgrade, better aftermarket speakers aren't that expensive and you can get rid of the cheapo paper cone speakers.

I agree, but if I remember correctly OEM is not paper

Id love to upgrade but i dont know anything about speakers... so not sure what the best move would be

I can't really speak for the doors, the only speakers I swapped were the tweeters and center channel and they looked as cheap as anything I've pulled out of old Chevys, the door speakers might not be but I haven't looked, it's on my list to redo the front doors.

The door and rear shelf speaker cones are made out of some kind of poly. The sub and center are paper. Even though it's old school good paper or pulp cones are considered by many to have the best sound.
