QUICK QUESTION: Wiring up a LOC?
QUICK QUESTION: Wiring up a LOC?
Hey,
I read the forums and I see that I can disconnect the wires from the existing sub and tap my wires from my LOC to it. I have six wires coming from my LOC (2 channel). One is grey, one is white, one is grey with a black stripe, one is white with a black stripe, and two are brown.
Do I connect the two wires with the black stripe to the one negative sub wire and the other ones to the positive sub wire, leaving the brown ones unhooked? Just want to make sure I do this correctly the first time.
Thanks!

That's what I did with mine and works fine. Just make sure that you have the car off before doing. I didn't and I shorted out the center and subwoofer parts on the stock amp and had to beg a dealership for a new factory amp to get it working. They didn't have to help me because I caused the problem, so it wouldn't normally be covered by the warrantee.
Hey bud!
I already have a PAC that I got a while back for free. If I was buying one, I wouldn't buy anything other that a David Navone. I may buy one simply because there really is no substitute imo.
