So i replied on a isimple thread to get a question asked but seem that ppl are reading over it lol..

anyways, the local best buy shop here says its not gonna work on my car because the 04+ tl isnt on the back of box that shows the vehicle compatibilities. So i want to know, before i buy, will the isimple made for honda/acura applications work? or is there another version of the isimple that is compatible for the 04+ TL?

It will definitely work! Just get yourself the Honda/Toyota kit and you're good to go. Best Buy is the worst when it comes to this shit.

 

lol true.. i went back couple days ago and they actually got more in stock and i grabbed the box that actually had 04-08 acura TL listed on the back lol. Its been 4 days now and the unit is just sitting in the back of my car waiting to get installed.. its been pouring rain the past week.. literally..

i already pulled down the lower carpet to see what im gonna be dealing with.. and it looks like its gonna be one hella tight work space hope it all pays off in the end

Except for last night - I found a HDRT on clearance for $60.

 

Installation was pretty diffucult w/o radio removal, getting out the white plug was a pain in the butt! but all worth it in the end.
