Questions about non navi -> navi conversion

So, I want to get the trunk tray. Does this fit correctly with the dvd player in the trunk?

Do I HAVE to get the trunk liner to do the navi conversion?

Thanks!

You need that for the conversion.

Or you have to cut a hole in the existing liner

Any pics just cutting the hole?

Looks nice with the carpet though.. didnt realize the carpet actually covered the whole dvd player.

If you cut, it takes a lot of effort and accuracy. I think it's better if you just buy one that has the space for the DVD player for the navigation.

Well it all depends on how much you want it. You could go with the cutting if you think that it's gonna be alright.

I had my local dealer pricematch (or come close) to the best internet price I could find. Worth a shot.
Also, you do not need the trunk liner to proceed with the conversion. You can get it later. You can cut a hole and see if you like it. If not, then buy the liner. It's a simple install. BTW, I did buy the liner before I started the conversion job, but that's just me.
