Questions about LOC
*Skip to the questions at the bottom if you don't need extra info* Hi guys! Sorry if these questions have been answered already but I've spent a pretty decent amount of time reading build threads and I can't find someone who has posted the same setup I'm planning. Since I'm spending a lot of money on a system I want to make sure I get it right the first time. So first I'll lay out my plan.
(2006 TL w/ Nav)
Desires: Bluetooth connectivity (I have a BT45-HON3 coming in the mail), keep stock HU, want balanced audio that remains clear at high volumes and some more low end (don't we all).
Budget: Id like to keep everything under $1500 but I could stretch to $1700 (including the ~$150 ill spend on deadening and the ~$150 Ill spend on wires)
Skillset: I've installed 4 audio systems (1999 4runner, 2003 4runner, 2002 WRX, 2006 Volvo S40 T5) but never really learned more than was absolutely necessary, so my knowledge is pretty limited. All of these systems included a speaker amp and new speakers most included a sub and head unit.
Current Products I'm considering:
RF Power T600-4 (speaker/sub amp)
Hertz CK 165 (for the front doors)
JL Audio 12W0v3-4 (sub, haven't decided where I'm mounting it probably a custom enclosure)
AudioControl LC1i (in between the preamp tap and the aftermarket amp?)
I'm planning to run the components in the front doors from the front channels on the amp and bridge the rears to run the sub
If anyone thinks I could get better value for my money buying something else I'm definitely open. Only things I'm set on are hertz speakers of some kind (I love their sound) and a RF amp (I like the punch knob)
*Now to the questions*
1. Will this setup work? Specifically, will that AudioControl LOC do what it needs to do to get a preamp signal taken between the factory HU and amp in the correct form for my amp? I keep reading about differential balanced signals and I don't understand what the LOC is doing to make that compatible w my amp. I'm sure I can find an answer to that but first I'd rather you guys tell me if there are any obvious problems w my setup. Do I need to learn how the LOC works in order to set it up correctly or will the manual be enough? Also, should I get the one with accubass? I've read its only really necessary if the stock HU has a low end drop off at higher volumes.
2. Where should I mount the LOC? That amp is so big I'm definitely gonna mount it in the trunk. I've seen so many posts complaining about noise in aftermarket audio systems. I would really like to avoid this problem. Most posts I've seen say to mount the LOC in the front, however I've heard that modules like the one I'm looking at clean up the sound, so wouldn't it make more sense to mount it in the rear so it can clean up whatever noise was picked up on the way from the dash to the trunk?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Also please let me know if there is a problem with my post I haven't been able to find thread starting rules on this site.

Not sure what answers you came up with but the correct answer is to use amps that will not require a LOC. The JL amps will work with the low HU signal just fine. No need to introduce an additional component that is not needed. I would suggest an XD/700 all 4 channels bridged to front components, sub channel to sub. Keep center channel and rear fill on OEM amp.
