Question about rear sub in the back deck

I have a question i have a 03 TL-S and my sis has a 08 TL she wants to replace her back sub in the deck lid, im going to do mine but mine is a way different Gen then hers, so i was wondering will she be able to use a kicker SMMb8 to take the place of that stock sub back there.

search around. replacing the sub in the stock location has been tried over and over, and not many good results.

replacing factory sub = FAILURE!!!

in the past I've done a few g35's with the JL Audio infinite baffle Marine subwoofer with great results...requires some modification...but well worth it...we've used many DLS Infinite Baffle Subs as a cost saver and again....great results...

O so her best result is to get a 10 or so in her trunk. I guess she will have to get it custom because she has a stroller and what not

Go in the black market section. There is a guy selling really nice custom made corner enclosures for the 3rd gen, and other models. Then maybe just remove the factory sub??

Cool Here is what I did. I think it works great!!!

Take a look. Let me know what you think. It can't be seen from the outside of car. Also you don't give up any trunk space......
