Question about radio (and XM) station IDs

On FM radio stations that broadcast their call sign should I be seeing that on my audio display? Seems like when I test drove the car I remember seeing that on the screen and a couple of my other cars do show have that feature where I see the station call sign and even the current song playing.

Also, is there any way to program the XM radio station presets with the name of the channel instead of just the number?

Thanks,

The TLs stereo system does not support RDS, which is what shows the name of regular FM stations and the song being played on the display. Also, the only way to program in the XM channels is by the station number. The name will display above the stereo if you have that display option selected.

Thanks,
on my non-nav i depress the "disp-" button and cycle between xm station "genre" (ie:rock), "station name" (ie:the loft), "station number" (ie: 45), "artist name" (ie: beck), and others...

your welcome.
congrats on the new purchase-
