Sorry if this has been asked before but I wasn't able to find a thread on it, I was wondering what the difference between a DVD-A disc and an MP3 disc is, I've heard a lot of people complaint about the TL's lack of MP3 capability but right now I don't see a drawback to DVD-A, using Adobeman's and other people's tips I was able to easily make a DVD-A disc with 90 full-length songs, and at good quality too
A related question, I've heard that DVD-A was sort of a disappointment in the industry, is it a technology that's here to stay? I'm addicted to it and would hope to see it disappear in the next gen model

Cruisin'
the TL wont read an MP3 disc, period. it can read a properly burned dvd-a. they are totally different.
dvd-a and SACD are nice formats, 5.1 and other goodies, and while many players supported them for a while, they just never took off.
