Programming Navi with XM traffic

A buddy of mine told me today that there was a way to program the Navigation system to coordinate with XM to "autotune" to the traffic channel of your choice on given intervals, like every 15 minutes, for a set amount of time, like 2 minutes. This is not XMTraffic, just a way to set it up so that instead of having to manually switch back and forth, it would do it automatically.

Any truth to this? Does anyone know a way to do this?

Certainly nothing I've ever heard of, but would be nice! Although, this would probably imply the ability to do the "tuneselect" stuff too that newer XM radios have (and we don't..)

That, and freaking CD-Text / DVD-A text would make the system flawless.. Alas, can't always get what you want.
