Question DTS vs A52 codecs / decoder

Can anyone tell me if the A52 (AC3) codec encoded 5.1 music will play on the ELS system. Is there a huge difference in encryption.

I've had no luck decoding A52 yet DTS material plays ok.

What these questions lead up: I have a favorite disk encoded in 5.1 A52. I am trying to convert to DTS stream using either SureDTS or VLC but have had no success in converting streams to a ELS/DTS compliant format.

No, the TL DVD-A system will only play DVD-A lossless encoded discs and DTS encoded discs. AC3 is Dolby digital which is a more compressed format than DTS or DVD-A, and our system does not decode it.

Do a search for makeing your own DVD-A discs to remidy your problem.
