I pulled the signal from the headunit off of the amplifier based off of this diagram. I cut black and gray and connected RCA connectors onto the ends. However, it seems like I'm not getting any signal to my MS-A1004 amp.

Am I pulling the differential output from the correct place?

 

yeah should be black and grey for the right and green and blue for the left. Check your RCA connections.
