Problem with phone setup and dvd-a

hello all, I have 2 problem, first, i can setup the phone fine untill i go to the final step where i have to give it a name, no matter what i say, word, letter, or numbers, it doesn't reconize anything, i heard a beep, i say the what i want to name it, nothing happen, then 2 beep follow and its all over again.... what can i do to fix this problem? if i can setup the phone fine, it must mean that the car can hear me ok, but the final step isn't working? i've tried so many times that i give up on it.
2nd, when i play my dvd-a, it sometimes would play a track for 5 seconds, then skip to the next track or it would play for a while and never finish the current track before going to the next track, i'm sure it wasn't skipping since i tired it parked and it still does it, when i bring the disk into my computer, all tracks plays fine. does any one have any idea what is going on?
Thank you very much for helping me
Keith

The DVDA problem sounds like a watermark detection muting. Are you sure this is a factroy recorded disc ?

Clear your bluetooth. I can't remember the command, but go into the main menu and reset the bluetooth. This happened to me as well, and would recognize NOTHING until I did this.

Good luck.

I had the same issue with my phone after I updated the firmware. I called acura and was told that my phone was incompatible. So I tried it for about 2 hours or so and nothing. I was ready to toss my phone as far as possible but then decided to pair my brothers phone (100% compatible). His phone paired fine, then I did the pairing process after that with my phone and it worked.

I get the dvd-a issue with some of my dvd-a also, and havent found a fix for it.

Does this happen on your other discs? Perhaps Track Scan button engaged. Just a thought.

I think I'm having this same problem with this "watermark detection muting" with DVD-A discs I'm making myself. The track will play for about 15 seconds, then no more audio. The disc is still playing, but no sound.

I'm using DVD Audio Extractor to get some DVD-V audio, then DVD-Audio Solo to create an .iso, then Nero to burn the DVD-A. Same thing happens with Discwelder Chrome.

I'm using either DVD-RW (tried 1x and 2x), or DVD-R (tried 1x and 2x).

Any ideas?

Looks like I found the answer...watermark.

Anyone know how to bypass the watermark?

I used Adobinizer to convert the .wav, than i used dvd solo to convert it to dvd format, and i used nero 7 to burn it into a prodisk 4x dvd-r disk.
