Problem with Katana II and HFL
I just got a new Sanyo Katana II phone. I followed the pairing instructions. Everything seed ok until I try to answer a call.
- An incoming call is announced and the radio is muted
- I hit the answer button
- The radio turns back on and I can hear the called trying to talk to me through the phone speaker for about 5 seconds.
- then the radio mutes and I can talk via the HFL
I tried to delete the phone and pair it again - Same thing
I tried pairing a Sanyo Katana DLX - Same thing .
Any ideas ?
Thanks in Advance

When I first got the Katana II, it worked perfectly.
Then, a couple months later, started doing what yours does. But not every time. I'd say about 1 out of 4 or 1 out of 5 calls does that.
It *seems* to work better if you don't answer immediately and then after pushing "talk" wait a second before saying "hello".
I'm not sure if that *really* works or if it's just my imagination. It hasn't happened often enough for me to decide.
On another topic: When I recieve a text message, if I'm in the car, the HFL will mute the radio and ring. Took me a while to figure out why no one was there when I answered. Just a heads up.
