Hey folks...

I've had a nearly trouble-free bluetooth experience with my TL since 2004 ... first with my LG sprint phone, then with my Sanya Katana sprint phone, and now with my Blackberry 8330 curve sprint phone...

here's the recurrent problem... and very rare...

every once in a while, i'll be speaking on bluetooth speakerphone... and all of a sudden the battery meter will disappear and my connection will disconnect from the TL speakerphone and transfer back to the "earpiece" (i.e. the cell phone) and I'll have to pick up the cell phone to continue my conversation. If I wait about 2 minutes, every once in a while the bluetooth connection will resolve and I'll be able to start using the TL speakerphone.

I have experienced this with the Katana, and the blackberry -- could it be this is a TL issue? I have never had a bluetooth update from the dealer since acquiring my vehicle in 2004. Is there any update that you guys/gals know of that would improve this issue?

My blue tooth has been acting up in the last week or so. I have attributed the problems to my Motorola cell phone that went through a wash cycle last year. Delayed symptoms?

The link up with the TL is hit and miss. Sometimes the TL doesn't see the phone.

Also, my PHONEBOOK in the TL has mysteriously vanished. I don't know where it went or why. The battery has gotten low a few times from non-use of the car for more than a month but it was never completely dead.

 

I am a new owner to my 06 TL. I am having trouble with my bluetooth system. When I hit the voice command button it says the Hands free link i locked and then asks for a passcode. I just bought the car and am guessing there is a way to unlock it myself or clear the previous passcode. I read somewhere that you can clear it but it doesn't seem to work. Any help would be appreciated.
