PROBLEM #2: TVandNAV2go Treating DVD Player as Primary Output

Like the title states, the video interface unit is treating the DVD player as the PRIMARY output screen to the LCD. The back-up camera is not coming on, nor is the nav unit.

FYI: If I bypass the unit, all is well...so the issue is NOT with the OE navigation unit.

IIRC, there are two video inputs on the Nav2go, one is switched and the other isn't. Have you tried both?

Also, how is the switch to switch between the modes wired up?

Ok, there's two outputs on the unit, one for a backup camera, the other for an aux device such as a DVD player. The backup camera is now working as it should (brain fart during troubleshooting), engaging the screen when I'm in reverse or hit my tailgater kill-switch.

The switched output for the aux device is where the problem lies. It's using the SWITCHED source as the default. Even when I tried a new switch, nada.

I'm going to splice in a new switch tomorrow from the trunk and see if something got buggered upstream. WEEEEEAAAAAK.

If anyone has any other idears, throw 'em out here, this is hella annoying. I've come to rely on my backup cam more than I though.

Issue resolve. I had to remove the carpet to redye everything, and lo, somehow I severed 3 wires leading to Dom's unit.

Issue resolved, new wires routed.
