Nice, the audiovox/prestige products are pretty solid ... dunno if this unit uses spread spectrum or not, but range is pretty good, not 1 mile though (even though they claim this in ideal situations).

Nice unit, congrats.

Nice unit, congrats.
the audiovox/prestige product line is about as solid as it gets for mobile security...we sell an absolute ton of avox mobile sec...so much in fact that we dropped compustar, scytek, and all DEI product lines and use on avox exclusivly for our customers. Great product support and reliability!!!

Now don't start your car in the garage with the garage door shut...wouldn't want to hear about somebody killin their whole family from CO poisonin...

as i always say... a remote starter's FIRST weakest link is the person who installed it... a remote starter is as good as it's installation first and foremost...

if you guarantee a quality, professional, (soldered is my personal preference, but i'm not going to argue with anyone about solder v. t-taps v. etc .. apples v. oranges) then the features, reliability, etc of the unit all comes into play.

Have seen Avox units, CS, and DEI products fail miserably secondary to shi--y installs
